Blackmore Vale is an unrebuilt Bullied Light Pacific which ran on the Southern Railway.

In the 1960s, after withdrawl from service by British Railways, the locomotive was bought

and restored by a group of enthusiasts. Richard contributed some of his pocket money

towards the restoration of this fine locomotive. Blackmore Vale currently resides on the

Bluebell Railway undergoing another overhaul before taking to the rails again.
